Just over 1 week to go until ScotlandJS!
We have attended and sponsored the conference before – our Founder & MD Andrew has even given a talk in the past (see video from ScotlandJS 2015 – below!). This year we are going bigger and better than ever and some of our developers have been working on creating a brand new app that we’ll launch at the event!
For ScotlandJS 2018 we have designed and built a developer challenge app which will go live on the 19th July (day 1 of the event). The challenge app is called #HackTheHive and will involve event delegates – or whoever is up for the challenge – hacking their way to winning the ultimate prize. Once we have launched the app, all that you’ll have to do is follow the given URL and work out the rest for yourself!
Once (if!) you’ve cracked the code, you will have to enter by tweeting us @SwarmOnline with your unique code!
We will run a prize draw from those who are successful at hacking the hive and the successful ‘hackers’ will be in with a chance of winning a set of headphones worth £300. We will also invite the successful ‘hackers’ to apply for the positions we are currently hiring for! This is a chance to show off your skills, have a go at ‘hacking’ a website in a totally legal way and have a bit of fun! If you want to give it a go and see if you can crack the code – simply head over to our twitter page & give us a follow. After it goes live on the 19th July, you’ll find the link to the #HackTheHive challenge on our Twitter feed as well as some hints and tips from our developer team.
